About Susan
Susan grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and met her husband of over 20 years in upstate New York. They decided Colorado was the perfect in between to bring their family of five. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Wellness Management studying nutrition, exercise, and holistic wellness strategies. Susan is currently a student at Walden University graduating in early 2025 with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health. In the summer you will find Susan on her paddleboard with her beloved dog Jerry or riding her mountain bike with her husband. Year round she thrives on her time in the gym, creative projects, and down time at home with her family.
Life’s twists and turns brought Susan to her career later in life. Raising neurodivergent children and having loved ones experience substance use disorders ignited a passion for supporting children, teens, and families. She has years of experience working with loved ones of people with addiction disorders as a Community Reinforcement And Family Training (CRAFT) facilitator and in a 12-step family group. Susan gives tangible tools for the day to day challenges. She prioritizes creating a space that encourages authenticity and facilitates positive change and healing.
